Stress Regulation Traditional Chinese Medicine & Somatic Practice
In Traditional Chinese Medicine we understand stress through the lens of the liver. The livers role is to ensure a smooth flow of Qi (energy) around the body, and smooth flowing Qi equals a healthy harmonious mind body system. The liver is also in charge of processing stress. When we experience high stress in our lives, or get stuck in a stress cycle this stagnates our Liver Qi. This impacts our immune system (spleen) and our energy levels (kidneys).
What you will learn
You will learn tools to help your body regulate stress; including acupressure points, somatic movement practices, Qi gong and breathing exercises.
Who should attend
Stress is a normal part of everyday modern life, and stress is healthy, what is unhealthy is when we are not able to regulate after stressful periods and we become overwhelmed and stuck in stress cycles. This weakens the bodies immune sytem, stagnates our Qi and ultimately leads to a life that feels like a struggle, rather than a life enjoyed.
This workshop is for everyone – espeically for those that feel they need some more tools to manage stress in their lives.

Welcome to our mini day retreat, where you can ground yourself and recenter your mind, body, and soul. A co-created retreat with Hannah from Take Coaching Amsterdam. Rested being
You will receive ear acupuncture during this workshop and whilst the (small) needles are marinating I will guide you through Yoga Nidra, a deeply restful and nourishing sleep meditation.
Once the needles have been removed I will use ear seeds which will stay on for approx one week to help anchor this calm and grounded energy in your body.
The perfect tonic to a cold winters weekend.

Nidra & Needles, Deep Rest
Join me for 2 hours of deep nourishing rest as we transition into winter. During the workshop you will receive an acupuncture treatment to support calming the mind and body. As you marinate in the needles you will be guided in a yoga nidra journey (also known as yogic sleep) and we will close the practice with journaling to cement the practice.
